Project Faultless
Project Faultless, October 2018
I recently talked with some co-workers about the "Project Faultless" site my friend, and I visited last October, so I figured I would post a few pictures of it here.
Ground zero is roughly an hour outside of Tonopah, Nevada. This is the site of an underground nuclear test from the 1960s. The large pipe you see in the photos was once level with the ground and was used to lower the Nuclear device about a mile underground. However, after the explosion, the ground collapsed for a mile or two, leaving the pipe above ground level.
